Can I bring in outside alcohol?
No. VA ABC law prohibits any outside alcohol on the premises.
Do you take reservations or book private events?
Reservations are not required for groups of less than 20 people. If you have over 20 people in your party please email info@solacebrewing to inquire about group reservations.
What is a crowler?
A crowler is an alternative to a growler. It is a 32 oz aluminum can that is filled and seamed on site for you to take home. Crowlers should be treated just like a growler. They are NOT meant for long-term storage or shipping. Keep them cold and drink within 7 days of filling.
Do you fill growlers?
Yes! We will fill 32 oz, 64 oz, and 128 oz growlers. Left your glass at home? No problem! We have 32oz and 64oz growlers for sale.
What’s the food situation?
The Sterling location has a kitchen with menu items that will please everyone in your group! No outside food or food delivery is allowed. Due to Virginia health regulations, dogs will only be allowed on the patio, with the exception of service animals.
Can I bring my dog?
Friendly, leashed dogs are welcome on the patio only.
Since our kitchen opened in August of 2024, dogs are no longer allowed inside but are welcome on the patio as long as they are well behaved and on a leash.
Are you family friendly?
Yes! However, please remember that we are a 21 and older drinking establishment. Anyone under 21 has to be with an adult over the age of 21 at all times. Remember when you didn’t have kids? And anytime you went somewhere that had a bunch of kids you got mad when they were running around screaming and running into you? I mean, we know you aren’t letting your kids run around uncontrolled at a restaurant. PLEASE treat our space similarly.
Do you offer tours?
We don’t currently offer scheduled tours. However, the wall between the tasting room and the brew house is glass. Therefore, you can see the all the action from inside of the tasting room!
Do you sell kegs?
We sell 1/6 barrel kegs out of the tasting room. We require a $100 refundable deposit on all keg sales.
Do you sell gift cards?
Physical gift cards are available for purchase in our tasting room. You may purchase an electronic gift card using this link:

Your electronic gift card will be emailed to the lucky recipient and will be ready for them to use on their next visit to the Sterling location.
Gift cards purchased via this link are not able to be utilized at the Solace Outpost locations in Falls Church or Navy Yard.
