Find Your Solace at home!

That's right! You're quarantining (great decision by the way!), and we have beer that we would like to get to you (if you're 21 and older that is)! Delivery of cans, crowlers, growlers, and sixtels is available to anyone within a 30 mile radius of the brewery (Virginia only per ABC rules).

Here are the details:

  • 1 case, 12 crowlers, or 1 sixtel minimum (mixing and matching 4 or 6 packs with crowlers and mixing and matching brands is fine). 1 case equals 6 x 4-packs or 4 x 6-packs. Check our BEER page for what is currently available.
  • 4 case maximum per person per delivery (ABC's rule)
  • $5 delivery fee
  • Order online or by email
  • For orders via email, contact delivery@solacebrewing.com with your full name, address, cell phone number, and order.
  • We will call you the morning of your delivery to get your credit card info. So make sure you answer the phone!
  • Deliveries take place every Monday-Friday, and we are going to do our best to get your beer delivered to you within 2 business days of your order
  • We also are doing call ahead curbside pickup here at the brewery during normal Tasting Room hours! No Wednesday half-price growler or crowler sales right now...

If you are outside of our new delivery radius, or even if you are in that radius, please remember that grocery stores and some bottle shops are remaining open during this time, and they are stocked with cans of our beers!! Some of them include, Dominion Wine and Beer, Arrowine, Norm's Beer & Wine, Craft Beer Cellar DC, The Brew Shop, Total Wine & More, Costco, Giant, Wegmans, Harris Teeter, Whole Foods Market, Safeway, and Trader Joe's.

COVID-19 and Executive Order 53

Governor Ralph Northam signed Executive Order 53 on Monday, March 23 to go into effect at 11:59pm on Tuesday, March 24.

The Order requires all breweries with an on-site Tasting Room to convert to carry-out only until 11:59pm on Thursday, April 23

Beginning March 25 we will be implementing the following changes:

  • The Tasting Room will be open every day for to-go beer orders only
  • Beginning on Friday, March 27, Tasting Room hours will be 12pm to 7pm
  • Our cleaning regimen has not and will not change!.
  • You can still come inside to get your cans, crowlers, growlers, and/or sixtels
  • NO growler(s) brought into the Tasting Room will be handled by any Solace employee (even Solace branded growlers). So, no filling them. Sorry! But we have plenty of clean and sanitized growlers on site, and crowlers make an excellent alternative!
  • Call ahead curbside pickup is also available to further limit contact
  • We will continue to do beer deliveries every Monday through Friday until further notice! Email delivery@solacebrewing.com to place your order!

While Executive Order 53 will impact us greatly, we understand and respect the difficult decision Governor Northam had to make. This is the right decision for all Virginians. Our production facility does qualify as essential manufacturing, so we have no change there, other than we are putting as much of the beer that we can into cans! Our distributor is still able to pick up these cans from us to deliver to grocery and beer stores in Northern Virginia and DC. If you find yourself making an essential trip to one of these stores, please consider picking up a 4-pack or 6-pack of Solace beer. We would greatly appreciate! We have been truly overwhelmed and humbled by the outpouring of support from our fans throughout Northern Virginia and DC during this time. We are who we are because of you! We wish everyone the best and continued health during this time, and wherever you are during this, we hope that you all are still able to Find Your Solace! Cheers!

Can I bring in outside alcohol?

No. VA ABC law prohibits any outside alcohol on the premises.

Do you take reservations or book private events?

Yes, we offer reservations Monday-Thursday and before 5pm on Fridays! Please email info@solacebrewing to inquire about private events.

What is a crowler?

A crowler is an alternative to a growler. It is a 32 oz aluminum can that we fill and seam on site for you to take home. Crowlers should be treated just like a growler. They are NOT meant for long-term storage or shipping. Keep them cold and drink within 7 days of filling.

Do you fill growlers?

Yes! We will fill 32 oz, 64 oz, and 128 oz growlers. Left your glass at home? No problem! We have 32 oz and 64 oz growlers for sale.

What’s the food situation?

We have food trucks every Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Check our food & events page for the schedule. We also have various local snacks in the tasting room.

You can also bring your own food or have food delivered to the brewery.

Can I bring my dog?

Friendly, leashed dogs are welcome in the tasting room and on the patio.

Are you family friendly?

Yes! However, please remember that we are a 21 and older drinking establishment. Anyone under 21 has to be with an adult over the age of 21 at all times. Remember when you didn’t have kids? And anytime you went somewhere that had a bunch of kids you got mad when they were running around screaming and running into you? I mean, we know you aren’t letting your kids run around uncontrolled at a restaurant. PLEASE treat our space similarly.

Do you offer tours?

We don’t currently offer scheduled tours. However, the wall between the tasting room and the brew house is glass. Therefore, you can see the all the action from inside of the tasting room!

Do you sell kegs?

We sell 1/6 barrel kegs out of the tasting room. We require a $100 refundable deposit on all keg sales.

Do you sell gift cards?

Yes, we do!

Are you hiring?

Possibly! Please email a cover letter and resume to info@solacebrewing.com.
